Mission Statement – How We Will Accomplish the Purpose

We will build people (children, youth and adults) by:

1.  Introducing the Lost to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord

2.  Training them in the Word of God, the walk of love, and the walk of faith, and the walk of the Spirit; to know who they are, what they have, and what they can do in Christ.

3.  Restoring them to God’s plan for their lives:  experiencing The Blessing and  increase in every area of life, including freedom from poverty and  sickness, while exercising dominion and authority.

We will build relationships by:

1.  Engaging one another in weekly church services for adults, children, and youth, as well as small home groups.

2.  Volunteering in church ministry and service areas where people of all ages interact, serve one another, and serve God, fulfilling the commandments  of Jesus to love God and love one another.

3.  Promoting community outreach opportunities which initiate and develop relationships with others in our community.

We will build the Kingdom of God by:

1.  Training people  to share their faith with those in their realm of influence, being bold, anointed witnesses who preach and demonstrate the Word.

2.  Promoting evangelism teams that reach out to our community.

3.  Supporting missions financially, in prayer, and by going and preaching the Gospel in other nations around the world.

Vision Statement – Where We Are Going

We envision Spoken Word Church Brevard to be a body of believers who are living in the reality of the indwelling Presence of the Spirit of Christ.   As we display Jesus--His love, His Word, His power—to everyone we come in contact with, the anointing on our lives destroys every chain of bondage and brings deliverance, wholeness, and abundant life to others.  We are a people who will work with God in these, the last days, to see His will accomplished on planet Earth.
