In a thrilling comeback, the San Jose Sharks defeated the Winnipeg Jets 2-1. After Morgan Barron put the Jets up 1-0 in the first period, Will Smith tied it for San Jose in the third, and then 19-year-old rookie Michael Misa scored the winning goal in overtime. The Sharks improved to 29-25-4, while the Jets dropped to 23-26-10.
The Anaheim Ducks beat the Calgary Flames 3-2 in a shootout. Cutter Gauthier scored both of the Ducks' regulation goals, with Mason McTavish and Leo Carlsson finding the net in the shootout. McTavish is now 5-for-5 in shootout opportunities this season. Joel Farabee and Yegor Sharangovich scored for the Flames. The Ducks improved to 33-23-3, while the Flames fell to 24-28-7.
Finally, the St. Louis Blues defeated the Minnesota Wild 3-1. Kirill Kaprizov scored his second goal in three games since the league's return from Olympic play, and teammate Matthew Boldy picked up his 34th assist of the year. St. Louis' Logan Mailloux tied the game 1-1 with his second goal of the season just before the final frame. Pavel Buchnevich and Robert Thomas then scored the final two goals for the Blues, who improved to 22-29-9. The Wild dropped to 36-16-10.
